Beautiful commemorative plate in good vintage condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures approx 10.5" in diameter. The photographs don't do justice to the lovely gold gilt decoration! This plate was issued in 1973, and features the Wedgwood backstamp.
The text on the back reads:

St Paul's Cathedral, London
A cathedral has stood on the same
site since the year A.D. 604. Fire Destroyed
the Cathedral in 1086, and again during
The Great Fire of London in 1666.
The present Cathedral was built between
the years 1675-1710; and was designed by
Sir Christopher Wren, Master Architect.
